A book about why you should read books--of course I was going to love it!
You can never trust me to be impartial when it comes to Neil Gaiman. I'm as partial to him as partial gets.
I was gifted this book on my birthday and I read it the same day because it had been on my list for years and I wanted to experience Gaiman and Riddell in hardcover. It felt like Neil Gaiman was sitting next to me and telling me exactly what I needed to hear.
I think every person who creates anything, even PowerPoint presentations at work, needs to read this book. It tells you that it's okay to not have a plan, it's okay to be scared, it's okay to be not great at what you want to do. This is one of those books that inspire and give courage. I highly recommend it.

Came across this book while exploring Books-A-Million on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and it was just what I needed to read, and when I needed to read it.
Gaiman makes a point that we should enjoy ourselves in the middle of our successes in life. This could be one's profession, one's relationships, or both. Given the recent beautiful changes in my life, I will be taking his words to heart like never before!
While I was able to finish the book in one sitting, and would gladly spend another afternoon in the bookstore reading more like it, I would gladly read the book (and author) again!
