The dynamic duo of the art world - Neil Gaiman and Chris Riddell make a compelling argument for creativity and imagination. In the essays, written by Gaiman and illustrated by Riddell, you find more than just confirmation that art matters, you find hope. Hope that the generations to come will not simply accept things as they are and would strive to change the world through the power of their pens, paint brushes and voices.

More than "how to" advice, the little book inspires to be - to be readers, to be artists, to be ourselves, whatever expression that may take. It is an ode to the creative mind that every artist should read in those moments where it all gets a little bit too doom and gloom and things seem a little futile.

Aquele tipo de livro que todo mundo deveria ler em algum momento. Principalmente se estiver precisando de um pouco de inspiração e um conselho amigo.

Every human should read this for we are all creatives in one way or another. A great reminder to create, imagine, and read at a time when society is demanding we stop dreaming.

A good reminder of why to continue art.

A collection of four speeches Gaiman has given through his life, and he gives the reader one thoughtful line after another. It is inspiring and a good book to pick up when you are feeling blue. Really recommend giving it a read!

This is so good. Of course, I knew it would be. I even bought it for my brother for his birthday before I even read it. It's Gaiman talking about art, libraries, literacy, and life. And it's great. Read it. Or don't - but make some good art.

I got the audiobook and listened to it twice! Love it!
