This was such a cozy and comforting read, full of sweetness and spice in the perfect amounts. This was a novel full of whimsical and fantastical prose, from the descriptions of the land and lush surroundings our characters found themselves in to the descriptions of their bodies and thoughts. It felt like Lucas and Artair were in their own world separate from reality, where storms were magical beings bringing them together, campfires licked their skin with comfort, a mischievous fox became their companion, the trees sang their music for their entertainment and two souls found each other in the intimate and quiet moments. Low-stakes, no third act break-up, and spice that will have your cheeks turning rosey in one sentence, what more could you ask for?

I'd been looking forward to this one but am passing after reading the TW the author included at the beginning of the book.

I enjoyed this adventure. The writing is descriptive, the characters stay true to themselves. They accept one another, but know when to push the boundaries to help the other grow. Can’t wait to read the others in this series.

If you love cozy M/M romances, this book is perfect for you. I was completely swept up in the adventure and didn’t want it to end. Saying goodbye to the characters had me teary-eyed.
