I did like this - it's probably a 3.5. Mary Balogh's one of my favourite romance writers and this is a nice story but not among her best. I like the idea of the Survivor's Club, though - I just found some of the other stories more interesting than Vincent's.

Another good book in the series. Focused on two people who although in their 20s are somewhat stunted in their life experience, each for their own reasons. That being said they were always kind to each other and worked hard to maintain a positive outlook, even when it wasn’t easy. That made for much less melodrama than in some romance books, but that is usually my least favorite part, so I preferred this story.

It was just okay. I really liked Vincent in the first book but he wound up being quite flat in his own book. There wasn't really much tension or plot. I like the characters and it was an easy read but I felt the relationship could have been explored more. Not my favourite and I came in with high expectations.

It started out great but then the last 30% kind of dragged and it felt like just going through the motions
DNF at 75%. This is just an "Its not you, it me situation"
