It was predictable and honestly would have been better if priests weren’t involved tbh

Nathaniel sempat diajari bahasa isyarat dgn harapan dia mau berkomunikasi kembali & mengungkap siapa yg telah melecehkannya. Dalam prosesnya, orang dewasa disekitarnya sempat keliru menafsirkan orang yg diidentifikasi oleh Nathaniel.
Melalui buku ini, kita bisa belajar untuk lebih berhati-hati dalam main hakim sendiri hingga bukti menguatkan. Pada akhirnya hukum itu tidak hanya hitam atau putih saja, nmun banyak sekali area abu2 diantaranya.

This week I've been reading Perfect Match, yet another wonderful book by Jodi Picoult.
Perfect Match asks the question, is it ever okay for a person to take justice into their own hands? The assistant district attorney Nina Frost prosecutes child molesters and rapists for a living, and she knows how often the legal system fails its victims. When her five-year-old son is molested, she takes justice into her own hands.
It was great, I greatly recommend it, just like all of Picoult's other books.

Another well-written Picoult novel. Well-drawn characters, good plot, dark story lines. I really like her books, but after reading one of them I always feel the need to read something light, breezy, and/or funny.
Well.... I liked this one a lot. It was my fourth Jodi Picoult book and I'm starting to get used to her writing style and I really like it. The topic was interesting enough to draw me in and keep me turning pages. However, like many people who have commented before me.... I was annoyed with the mother. She acted very selfishly, and I really thought she should've gone to jail. Maybe it's because I'm not a mother yet; I don't know. But I was slightly dissatisfied with the ending. I really enjoyed the little bit of information the reader gets on the second to last page about what Caleb did. That part I didn't see coming.
Another page turner with a pretty predictable ending. Oh well; maybe I like these kinds of books. :)

It was just an okay book up to the very last page, which for me made it even less okay. Picoult should have ended it 3 pages earlier!
