I have enjoyed her other books in the Bailey Weggins series more. I wasn’t as drawn to the characters in this one and the story felt convoluted with an ending that was not fulfilling. Some of the elements of the story could have also used more exploration because you didn’t understand the motives of the characters. In one instance there was a hint that there may have been more to the story but it just fizzled.
It was a quick read and had some interesting elements. Just wasn’t as impressed with this one.
