Calling this female American Psycho is a gross oversimplification. Maeve Fly is far more interesting to me than Patrick Bateman. I will say, I wouldn't call this feminist, as some of the critics have said. I don't know. I may have to revisit my opinion on that. I mean, I wouldn't call it UNfeminist. I just think Maeve has a complicated relationship with men, and anyone who has experienced womanhood, I feel like would understand that. Anyway, loved this book!
