This book hit me like a pile of bricks, then stabbed me, then twisted the knife, then dissolved me in acetate

i skimmed the last few chapters because i knew they wouldn’t change my mind. i thought i hated “the handmaid’s tale”…well, i hate this one even more. i didn’t think that would be possible. the more you live, i guess

3.5 stars for enjoyment but a mesmerising character analysis of elaine that gives these stars enough to see by

Margaret Atwood, as we all know, is just brilliant. And that brilliance is definitely not confined to A Handmades Tale. This book is a facination critique/analysis of early and current feminism and early female relationships. It made me rethink the way I look at paintings and feminism. I definitely recommend.
