I quite liked it. I appreciated the autism and mental illness representation. I found Anna's struggles relatable, and the way she overcame them inspiring. Quan made me realize I'm not a forgiving person, because I don't think I would have been able to forgive what she did. I also didn't really buy into the romance, it was rushed, and I didn't see what he liked about her aside from her looks, he never really said anything except for that. It got suprisingly dark at times. This book had my one trigger I have that I never bother to check because it's not that common, hospitals and terminal illness. My biggest qualm with this book is that Priscilla didn't get dragged by the hair like she deserved. Listened to it on storytel and the voice actress did such an amazing job.

Emotional damage!

That’s the best way I can describe this book.

Please please please read the TW before you pick this one up. It really caught me off guard.

I really wanted to love this book, and I really enjoyed reading about Quan in the other books. So, I was quite excited to read his story. But for some reason this book didn’t give me the same feeling as the other two. I don’t know whether it was because the start felt rushed, or the fact that I was annoyed with the FMC because I felt like we were building up to her having this big moment and while it did sort of happen it just kind of fell flat for me.
I really did want to love this book but for some reason  it just really didn’t do it for me.

100/5 stars. This book has a romance subplot and a happily ever after, but it more of a fiction read in my opinion. Reading this book was affirming in more ways than I could’ve ever imagined. It helped me see so much of what’s happened in my own life over the past few years. In watching Anna take care of herself and return to her passions, I feel like I can daydream about the future again. It’s feels like taking a good, deep breath. I’ll never love another book quite like I love this one.
