Quite a witty read. Love the banter and while I’m usually opposed to missing out on a couple’s beginnings, this worked very well. Sweet reunion and reconnection. Think I’ll enjoy more of these two for sure! ❤️

The 4 stars are for Rain. I loved him so much. It was so good to be in his head through this story!! The romance was not so exceptional but Rain and all the characters really make this read really worth it 😍

SE Harmon has single handedly made me a fan of second chance romance, a trope that used to be the one I stayed away from!
I loved this book. Rain’s character was so wonderful and all his actions made sense regarding Danny and his job, even if at times they weren’t the right ones. I loved Danny as a character so much and I thought his chemistry with Rain was fantastic. I especially liked how Harmon weaved the paranormal aspect with the crime in the novel; I will absolutely be continuing this series in the future.

Плюсы:
- атмосфера детективных многосерийный сериалов
- язвительные комментарии гг (на них держится буквально весь юмор книги)
- довольно интересная основная детективная линия с исчезновением, обычно всякие расследования не вызывают у меня большого любопытства, а тут действительно хотелось больше читать о ходе дела и узнать, что же произошло и кто виноват
- призраки, их было меньше, чем мне хотелось, но были как и прикольные (Итан - мой любимчик), так и пугающие
- тот факт, что действия гг вызывают последствия
его способности идут в разрез с должностью, и своевольничать и передавать послания умерших живым пострадавшим — не самая хорошая идея для человека, работающего в ФБР, будь готов если не к увольнению, то к сеансам с психологом и возможному переводу, да и недоверие со стороны обычных людей очень правдоподобно показано
- концовка
- неплохой вариант для осенней подборки с мистикой и детективами, но не слишком то spooky
