I get what the hype is now! A classic for a reason. Fitzgerald’s writing style is right up my alley. I’m actually kind of sad that we never read this in school, but at the same time, maybe going at it on my own has allowed me to enjoy it more. Listened to the audiobook on Spotify narrated by Scott Shepherd and it had me locked in for the full 5 or so hours (his Myrtle voice had me floored the first time I heard it lol).

Of course everyone loves this book, but there's a reason- Fitzgerald is a gorgeous writer and this is a great story. One of my favorite pieces of American Literature.
