Eh, it was.....okay? I honestly don't even know what to review about this because it left me feeling....well, nothing. It's just a story - a slightly interesting one, I'll give it that - where you just read on and on and then it opens up many questions and leaves them unanswered for you because maybe the author likes to do that or idk, and you feel close to zero connection with any of the characters in there (with the exception of Nick, maybe) and then with two nice and heartfelt final paragraphs - which I really loved - the book decides to end.

the PERFECT book for getting into classics. even without reading this in your english class, its palatable all-around and holds up to today’s world as well

So much more enjoyable to read as an adult. Fitzgerald's prose is so fun and bizarre, and the story really holds up.
Fixed my rating because I honestly didn't love this book or its characters and I rated it so highly before because it felt blasphemous not to do so lol. Nothing against the book or writing itself, really, just not my taste.
