Was I completely surprised by how much I loved this comic? Yes
Does this comic not only have a beautiful art style but also a beautiful story? Yes
Is this one of my new favorites? HELL YES!
I discovered this one on a recommendations list from Alice Oseman’s favorite webcomics. And far be it from me to question the taste of the author of one of my all time favorite webcomics, so this one got added to my “To Read” faster than that scene in X-Men: Days Of Future Past where QuickSilver moves the bullets around.
I started reading this right before bed, just to get a feel for it and see if it would be something I would enjoy and before I knew it I was done with the first part and way past my self invoked bedtime. The next day I was a woman obsessed and HAD to keep reading, I fell in love with everything about it, the characters, the story and the art style. I snuck in reading a page or two after every email I sent, rewarding myself for actually doing my job and not completely disregarding everything to finish the whole thing in one sitting.
I finished it that night and am now very much on the edge of mt seat for the final chapter.

WOW! What a rollercoaster ride!
People have been recommending this webcomic for ages, but I'm impatient, so I deliberately waited for the update that said it only had one update left, then BINGED that entire thing in one day. And I don't regret a single moment.
It was brilliant.
The snark, innuendos and humour of Mitch was perfectly balanced by the sense, logic and morals of Joey. Their relationship was cute, adorable and I never once felt that it wasn't genuine.
The story was a bit darker than I expected, with the stepdad storylines, but it was a great story overall. I really hope the Kickstarter does well, because I'd love to have this is a book format. (Without the $50 delivery charge of buying each chapter volume, because I'm in the UK!)

Even though there's a few updates left I'm counting this as read.
It's amazing. I'm in love. The characters are very lovable and relatable, and the superpowers aspect was very, very awesome.
I especially love the idea of the punk outcast friends not caring in the slightest that Mitch was gay. It was so refreshing and made me love Mitch even more with how powerful his pride became. I love the layers that make up Mitch, the outcast, the grief over his brother, the abused child, the eating disorder, and his loyal heart. Mitch is my favourite, I love the goofball.
Jonas is an interesting character and I love seeing a curvy main character who is a badass and their size doesn't consume their whole character. There's so much about Jonas that I love, he's such a complex character.
This is really a great webcomic and I will 1000% buy the physical copy once it's out. I want to re-read this forever.

La historia es cada vez más y más adictiva, los personajes son adorables de uno u otro modo y los gráficos son alucinantes todos en tonos blancos y negros, excepto matices de color cuando se trata de poderes. Estoy deseando que salgan nuevos capítulos.
