For a Free Palestine and total decolonization. Liberation for all the subjugated people. Our tears are nothing compared to the blood creeks. Our exhaustion from hearing the sad news is nothing compared to the forcedly deafen ears -- since they listen to haunting bombs every day. In this very brief breaths we take, the only thing we can do is to condemn the imperialists, the colonizers, the exploitative corporates that support the genocide. Long Live Palestinian Liberation; Long Live Palestine.

Brilliant, haunting, expressive. What a collection.

This collection really knocked the wind out of me. I especially appreciated learning more about the author's life and the creation of the Edward Said Public Library in Gaza - I would love to read a memoir in verse or more poems from this author.

A visceral and descriptive meditation on what it means to live in and through the violences of being from Gaza and Palestine. There are so many questions about why these conditions exist and what possibility looks like beyond a genocide and displacement that has been going on for so long now. There aren’t answers here; but there are dreams and i think that’s more important.
