I love this book. It touches on so
Many topics I love like The Great Migration, photography, family history, Matthew Henson…polar bears. It’s a wonderful homage to Lewis’ family. My family too came from Louisiana to California so this felt very personal to me.

Robin’s writing was increasing moving and I’m just so sorry I’ve only come across her work right now. I loved everything about it so much, especially the photos. All of this made me ache.
