The Descendant is Book 1 of the Fountain of The Gods series. This is a reverse harem series, so the FMC won't have to choose between love interests. If this isn't for you, I recommend not reading, but if it is, come grab a chair by me!

Ava is a real woman, 40's, kick butt, taking names and getting things done. She is a FMC that ladies like me that are not spring chicken can see ourselves in. This story is engaging, keeps you wanting more, and you will keep reading till your eyes hurt, or you read the whole book in less than 24 hours (hint.. like me)

There is a interesting cliffhanger at the end, but oh I can't wait!

That Ending!!

The Descendant is the first book I’ve read by Luna Blake and it had all the supernatural goodness I love to read about!

Ava is in her 40s, divorced with two kids, and trying to get her landscaping business off the ground. But things take a turn when she’s hired by a relative of her ex to fix up the family estate for a price she can’t turn down.

Along the way she meets the charming Cole, his brother Damon, Mariana, and the owner of the estate, Jonathon. But things aren’t what they seem, and her ex warns her to be careful.

The story builds up in the first half of the book, and then it picks up in the second half. Ava finds out that the worlds she reads about in her books aren’t so fictional after all, you can’t always trust those closest to you, and life isn’t always what it seems.

I can't wait for the next book in the series, especially after that cliffhanger!

This was my first Luna Blake book and what an introduction! I really loved Ava, I like that she’s older and she’s so relatable. I liked the storyline a lot, a little bit of mystery is always welcome. I definitely always enjoy the spicy scenes and they were there!! I can’t wait for the next book after that cliffhanger

This first book in the fountain of gods series was a great start!
It's a bit of a slow build up, but once it really gets going it sucks you right in.

Ava is a mother in her 40's being thrust into a world she knows nothing about. With a life full of secrets about to be unfolded.
Cole,Damon, and Jon are all very different which I really enjoyed. They all have extremely different personalities which added a lot to the story. A lot of the time the male characters are all so similar that they kinda blend and really the only way to decider them apart is by their names.

The build up to all the twists had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen.

This is a great start of Ava's story and the Fountain of the Gods series. The start was a bit slow for me put the pacing did pick up. Ava is relatable and likable, and I like that she is an older and mature FMC. The storyline is very intriguing and can't wait to read how it continues.
