The sweetest! Well written romance based on Beauty and the Beast, with a book theme. Very fun and great audio.
4/5 stars | super cute grumpy x sunshine, beauty and the beast retelling! i loved the first half but then by the beginning of the second half i definitely think it could've been about 50 pages shorter. a lot of scenes/parts could've been trimmed down or not even be included so with that the story started to drag a bit. the ending was so good tho, it was definitely a happily ever after <3

The whole interaction of the MC with the love interest.
It feels a bit of like enemies to lovers, but this is so much more . I adore all the delicate subjects it touch and I completely adore that this book is inclusive of plus size, like yes yes yes . One of the reasons I decided to read it was because of that and I love positive representation of body image.

This was FANTASTIC. I *adored* both Izzy and Beau, and I loved that this had the classic Beauty and the Beast dynamic of "all the shit he gives her, she gives right back". The plot was incredibly engaging, the side cast was solid, and I loved the arcs that Izzy and Beau went through. It was so fun, and funny, and sexy, and had the perfect balance of plot and romance for my taste.
Her books have been hit or miss for me, but the ones I like I tend to love. This one didn't do it for me. I loved the overall idea, but the writing style and cheap references were blah. Too much of it was about writing which left the characters flat.
