The first book (Secrets) felt a little slow to me, so I am glad I went on to the second book, which is a lot livelier. There's a lot more action in Choices, and I felt like I got to know the main characters a lot better in this one. I like that Schulte leaves you with mixed feelings about the characters - no one is all good, and no one is all evil (at least in terms of the main characters). I'm looking forward to the imminent (I hope) release of the final book in the trilogy, Consequences.
