This collection of poetry is completely unique. Each poem having a similar form of being an exclusion piece and their similar short length provides a quick, unique reading experience. Some of the metaphors are absurd, but the fact that they are absurd makes them make “sense.” Falck is able to create such a distinct sense of place and character in such a few amount of lines, it’s definitely an objectively impressive collection. Very glad that we studied this book in class.
