“Sacrilege” is a taboo romance anthology that will have you absolutely mesmerized, especially if you truly love all things forbidden!!! Each story in this anthology is well written and unique, and the tropes differ from story to story. All of these authors are extremely talented - there wasn’t a single story I didn’t like!!! This anthology is dark and gritty, spicy and intense. Some of the stories end on cliffhangers, whereas others end with a HEA. I’ve read some of these authors’ other books before, but with this anthology I’ve discovered many new to me authors. All in all, this was a great read!!!

This anthology is full of delicious little tales of naughtiness that are just the best! I really enjoyed these tales of love, that were perhaps against the "rules" of the church. My fave was about the naughty junior nun who gives into what she really wants! And the tale of the brat bratva princess who tries to take control of her own destiny and ends up with her darkest fantasy coming to life!

Unholy Vows

Imma just leave this tidbit from the author’s note:
If you’re a good girl who gets down on your knees beside your white wicker bedframe and prays for all the goodness in this world, then this may not be the book for you.
But… if you’re a good girl who gets down on your knees and prays every single fucking night for your pussy to get absolutely destroyed by a book boyfriend with a large cock and a penchant for choking, you’re in the right place.
There will be a nun corrupted, a chapel desecrated, nothing is left sacred.

TW/Tropes

dark religious taboo romance, cutting/self-harm, suicidal ideation, and reference to miscarriage.

Twisted Lust

Nikoletta and Konstantin both wanting what they can’t have…each other while Konstantin tries to resist - Nikoletta goes for what she wants.

There are twist, turns and secrets umrevealed that will leave you wanting more.

That cliffhanger was unexpected but I can’t wait for their story to continue!

TW/Tropes

godfather/goddaughter, age gap (48/18), Virgin FMC, Threats of Rape, claustrophobia, anxiety, and panic, Underground crypts Incest/Molestation (memories – not on the page/not in detail) Violation of sacred spaces

Delaney Dare brings the steam with her story "Unholy Vows". Eve and Declan are amazing together. While this may be a short story, Delaney did not let up on the emotions. They were so strong that is why I felt so strongly about this story. Not to mention the passion that felt "forbidden".

Twisted Lust by Beck Knight
Beck pens one dark and spicy read with this story. Nikoletta and Konstantin are angsty together. I could not get enough of them. Nikoletta is a tease. it was entertaining the way she would tempt Konstantin. I can't wait to see more of these two in the full-length novel.

Lost in Eden by Hayden Locke
Nate has been lost seem the lost of his wife. Yet, that all changes when he meets Eden. Just one night has Nate questioning his mission towards priesthood. I liked this story but was not in love with it.

My reviews are for:

Unholy Vows by Delaney Dare
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Delaney nailed it with this story. You have Second Chance, Organized Crime, and Forbidden Romance. Eva and Declan were everything!! Tragic and definitely an emotional read.

The Devil’s Daughter by RA Smyth
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
I always get excited when RA Smyth puts out a new story. As always, PHENOMENAL! She can LITERALLY write anything! I was hooked from the very beginning!!

Needless to say, I'm DEFINITELY going to re-read the rest of this anthology!!

Unholy Vows by Delaney Dare:
This story was one that surprised me with how much emotion it pulled from me. I went in ready to devour this deliciously twisted story and I got that then some, but the pain in Declan and Eve’s backstory shattered my heart only for them to mend it again. Declan and Eve were ripped apart in the past thinking that they shattered each other yet things are not as they seem, and Eve is a shattered soul in need of healing While Declan lives with his own demons. Will these two help each other mend each other’s hearts or live with the pain of their past? I loved this story and wish we had so much more of them, it was dark and twisted but oh so good.

Twisted Lust by Beck Knight:
Nikoletta has been sheltered and used as a pawn in her family’s business, so she is determined to at least make some of her decisions about herself. Konstantin has worked in Nikoletta’s family for years and as her godfather he has always protected her, watched over her, and been the solid rock that she has turned to but now things are changing. These two go around each other and their feelings trying to fight against this forbidden connection but it’s impossible. This ended on a cliff hanger that has me wanting more.

If you are a good girl, this book isn't for you

The Author's note at the start of this book set the standard and I was not disappointed.

There are 14 stories in this anthology and they all hit the right spot. Do not go into this book lightly, there and please ensure you read the *trigger warnings*.

To summarise, they are deliciously dark, taboo,
