A powerful and interesting collection of stories about women in the 70s banking industry. They pushed societal boundaries at a time when women were just starting to get some rights.
There are a LOT of people mentioned in this, making it a little overly complicated. The writing style feels a bit like a research paper, but the info is interesting. I agree with other readers that this would probably benefit from a glossary to reference who is who, since names will get referenced again in later chapters.
The audiobook narrator is great. She had a lot of inflection in her voice to balance out the more academic and clinical writing style.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for my advanced audio copy!

I don’t know. I feel like this should’ve been fascinating, but it wasn’t. This might be a great read for someone interested in the world of finance, but I’m not going to torture myself anymore.

This was an interesting read chronicling the history of Denver's Women's Bank and all the people that poured their time and expertise in getting it started. It reminded me that it wasn't that long ago that women were left out of so many financial freedoms.
