I just wanted something fun to read but it got a little too detailed and I lost interest. I respect the plot tho.

I was excited to pick this up from PFR, but after finishing it, I'm not sure if I was the right audience for this book. It felt overly long, and took me longer to read than I expected. I do appreciate how much research went into this, and I did learn how short a time that women have had access to credit and banking.
The writing was a bit rambly and there was some information that I feel could have been left out to make a more cohesive book. It felt kind of like trying to read a "based on real events" ensemble cast t.v. mini-series. The chapters went back and forth in time, and so many people were introduced. It was hard to keep up with some of them and remember who they were.
