While the actual contents of this book would merit a higher rating, it lacks in its delivery. The writing doesn’t flow from the start where one chapter of recounting the story of a woman to the next talking about legislation to another biography. The writing even within the paragraphs it can be hard to follow and is overall unorganized.
The book gets very detailed when talking about the women behind the bank, but not enough on parts of the bank which would be fine if that were the intention but the biographical chapters seem thrown into the book and in some cases have irrelevant information.
Though the delivery of the information was lacking for me, I did really enjoy the actual contents of the book and felt I learned more from it.
A quote I feel that really summarizes the book:

“…risk held a different meaning for men than it did for women.”
