Dit boek was vooral heel erg 'TE' voor mij: te speciaal, te absurd, te chaotisch, te verwarrend, te geforceerd, ...
In sommige fragmenten kon ik me wel verliezen en opgaan in het verhaal, maar dan versprong het perspectief weer en werd ik terug uit het verhaal gerukt. Niet leuk.

Mostly narrated by our 9 year old, with a few others thrown in along with some pictures. While 9/11 is a part of the book, it's more about how we deal with loss (each of our narrators in different ways).

Another prime example of, "the book is better than than the movie." I love the way Foer's mind works in this one. His ability to go right into the role of an inquisitive, sensitive boy is remarkable. Don't watch the movie. Just read this book.
