This is my new favorite book ever. The sarcasm, the plot, and the detail throughout the book was very entertaining

Well, maybe it was a bit like my kind of creepy, but a (nice) creepy/strange short story nontheless.

This short story ended up being too much for me. I have read dozens of novels and short stories by Stephen King (many of them filled with things gory, gross, and disgusting), but this has been the only one to make me feel that King definitely went too far. For this story I fall into the category of readers who, as another reviewer put it, found "it ghoulish and a tad gory, and depending on your sensibilities you may be disgusted, even offended."

Ok. Ok. Ok.

Yes, I love both King's and Hill's writing.
Yes, I wanted to listen to this collaboration between the two of them.

but.............................

I'm not sure if I am just more sensitive then I was in the past or what, but this story is fucking, ass weird!!!! I like it, but as I said...............................it is weird.

I'm not even sure what else to say expect...........Job well-done gentlemen. You have again caused me to question an everyday object I never thought twice about before reading your work. Thank you.

Maybe it'd be scarier if I lived in Kansas.

this short story was the first thing i've read by king without translation, and i gotta say i like the writing style. the premise is quite creative too, but the problem is the beginning was really slow, and the whole plot was very surface level compared to how good the netflix adaptation is.
