I have just finished reading the ARC of Liam (Dublin Kings) and I will say that I am not happy!
I want to know more about what is happening with Liam and Imogen! I know it's a prequel to their story in an anthology but I really didn't want it to end on a cliff-hanger!

I can't wait to read the rest of their story LK Shaw.

My review is for Blindsided by R.A. Smyth

“There’s no God here, babe...It’s the devil who’s going to make you scream tonight.”

Blindsided is a fast paced novella that takes place 2 years prior to R.A. Smyth's CresentWood series. It is NOT necessary to read that series, but of course, highly recommended for the full experience.

We follow Mia, just a small town girl, who is just making it by. When Conner walks in to her job and falls head over heels, at first sight...or so she thought. When it comes to his family, he remains distant, not knowing where he really comes from.

What an interesting sneak peek into this new spin-off. We met Mia in the CresentWood series. I was wondering who we would get their own spin-off. Anyways, after the way this ended, I can't wait to read more of Mia and Conner!

This is a review for Liam by L.K. Shaw.
Once again, I was pulled right into another story and it did not disappoint. The angst and tension between Imogen and Liam was SO good. The push and the pull, suspense and secrets. I can’t wait to read more from them already!

My review relates to Cathleen Cole & Frank Jensen’s Tripwire.

As a fan of The Vikings MC series I was excited to read more about the club especially the side story of Trip. Previous readers of the series may remember from Book 3 in the series that Trip couldn’t swim. Well that’s been rectified now but he’s still not the most strongest of swimmers so it’s almost ironic that his story would focus so heavily around the ocean and water.

When he’s run off the road and ends up in the water he’s rescued by a beautiful woman on a surfboard by the name of Marina. The attraction is instant and although their lives are complete polar opposites - she’s a good girl, he’s a biker, she loves the water, he prefers dry land - they work so well together.

It wouldn’t be a Vikings MC story without a burning attraction, a misunderstanding about the relationship and a bit of danger including the women. It also wouldn’t be a Vikings MC story if the woman didn’t at least try to hold her own.

Cathleen and Frank write amazing strong female characters and charming, flirtatious, strong and protective male characters. The attraction is obvious and the sexual chemistry is hot!

I received an advanced copy in return for an honest review.

Just a group of patriarchal a-holes.

There not anti-hero’s. An A.H. Is rough, crude, dangerous, but does what’s right in the end. They may complain, be dismissive, but they don’t cross that line into rape, abuse, or unneeded cruelty.

All these stories contained at least one, if not more.
You had one rape a virgin, then supposedly convinced her to love him

This review is for Luna Pierces portion of this novella. Wings of a devil is a novella about the events that you hear about in the alley prior to that FMC getting a job at a diner. In this novella the new fmc is trying to seek vengeance for her brother untimely death. I absolutely love this and I sure do hope that Luna gives us more when it comes to these characters. As always her writing was great she captivated me into reading the novella in one sitting.

I am reviewing Simone Leigh's contribution to this collection.

This is a story about finding the true hero of your life. Mistress to a tough man, when the crisis point comes, Katya is discarded, big time. Coming to her rescue, without regard to his own safety is Hickman, her paramour's employee, a hitman who has been her bodyguard.

The story has lots of action, danger, and plot twists. There is also love and a HEA. It's another ripping good yarn by Simone Leigh.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Tripwire - by Cathleen Cole

A quick, insta-love story that packs a punch, Tripwire is a great taster of the Vikings MC Franchise.

This story falls quite far into the series timeline - around book 8. However, it is easy to understand without having read the other books (I have only read the first 4 books and was not lost at all). It does contain minor spoilers for previous events, but not enough to take away from their stories.

Very enjoyable story with a sprinkle of spice. Will DEFINITELY make you want to go back to the beginning of the series and read them all.

I received this book as an ARC. This is my honest review.

I read Charmaine's contribution in the Anthology Taken By the Capo. I'm going to love this new series I can already tell with the characters Gala and Marcello. I love a dark mafia romance and Charmaine is building this to be one powerful storyline.
