The use of "loins" in a spicy scene really put me off.

This was really a fun read. Leila is enjoyable heroine, Vlad, though a little on the vengeful side, turns out to be surprising sweet and sappy. The story is totally engaging and diverting, lots of humor throughout which I love, some steamy hotness, never a bad thing. This is not a book to analyze at all or even think too seriously about cause whenever I do, parts of it bug me...but just to read and enjoy and move it...it was fabulous!

I loved it! I love Vlad and this book was awesome. And that's my review. It was epic. Vlad was. . . . epic. The end (did I mention I love Vlad?).

I was actually enjoying this until they freaking got married. The ANGST is the fun part. I guess I just like the tension. I guess I really just prefer urban fantasy to paranormal romance.

I ravished this book in the dark of the night (whenever i say that i think of Rasputin singing. Not sure why. Most likely has to do with my obsession with Anastasia as a child)

I started reading Twice Tempted in the wee hours of the morning (midnight) and read so fast and hard that i finished it just short of 4 am. Why you ask would i put myself through such headache rendering and wavering exhaustion?

Well, i was unable to stop. Literally. I would keep checking the clock and say "oh no its 2, i have go to stop and go to sleep, I have lots of work tomorrow blah blah blah" but my eyes would go back to the book and keep on reading.

Leila and Vlad hold this book together. I did find that their relationship moves incredibly fast i mean seriously. Take a break people! At the rate things are going I have no idea what to expect in the next book; children? Vlad keeps being homo annoying in the manner of trying to protect Leila waaay to much, especially considering that Leila is really very badass. She quickly becomes used to Vlad's cruelty and even embraces it. How cool is that?

It is fun to see a heroine accept the male lead's Draculaness and even participate in some dungeon tortures. Finally no wimpy please change if you love me heroine. No Leila is like " What you are torturing people? Wait let me just us my electricity to help you there"

Basically I greatly enjoyed finding out more about Frost's world. The characters continue to develop and although some things appear quite fast and not really thought out, it was really fun.

PS. Again- the cover? Why? Its just. no.

And just because I cannot stop thinking about it:

Holy hell, was I pleased with this book. It was most definitely worth the wait, although I could have done without the Cat and Bones spoiler (well, spoiler for me). My only complaint is that I wanted for the anguish of their breakup and the joy of their reunion to be prolonged. But we can't always get what we want, can we? The main plot arc seemed to take a backseat to the romance but, hey, it was good romance so all is well in that department.
