I didn't really like this book. I couldn't connect with the characters in the story and I didn't really like the writing. Was going to read the sequel spinoff, but now I'm not so sure.

So so good. This is the book I needed when I was a fat teenager girl who thought nobody understood me.

It wasn't as amazing as I had hoped but it was still pretty inspiring. It's just that I couldn't connect with the characters and I was bored most of the time.

It was nice to listen to this story in the background of studying. I liked the characters and the romantic interests. It was a relatable story. Although, I really wish that the ending didn't end so abruptly. Like, I know that the ending is mostly supposed to encompass Willowdean finally being okay with who she is, but it wouldn't hurt if we got a final kiss scene between her and Bo.

4.5*

One of those books you feel like you’ve lost a friend when it’s done. WillowDean is a character you’d like to continue to hang out with!

Audio. Strong protagonist with good insights.
