I have this tagged as fat rep, and wasn’t surprised to see the fatphobia cw’s, because I thought it was something dealt with in a more positive light. But, that’s not the case. The constant working out/meal prepping/“cheat meals”…it was too much. DNFing for now. May try to finish, but this was difficult to get through.

It’s one thing to go through a breakup and have a “revenge makeover” but the revenge bod into immediate intense working out? It doesn’t read as fat rep, imo. It’s more fitspo.

This was the perfect lighthearted read. I really appreciate how strong and healthy friendships was such a big part of this book. I cackled multiple times because it felt so relatable and there were many times I could see some of my friends doing and saying the same things. Even though it's a romance, this book is truly a testament to the importance of having great friends as an adult.

This was a great book for anyone trying to get their groove back. I loved watching Savvy become fully herself. I love her revenge on Jason. I love the contractor and I particularly love her taking care of herself first and really going for what she loves. It was entertaining, romantic and generally inspiring. Read it!
