I love the Mia's love for romance reads and Cal's love for musicals. I do love that it brings up the conflict of women not getting paid as much as men in sports. The quirkiness of Mia finding the 50s dating tips.
Although the dating was Mia's brother's idea brother's best friend is not my favorite trope. Or the virgin wanting to be taught how to please others. Although I do love Mia taking control of her sexuality.
I loved Cal's soft spot for dogs and wanting Mia to good in her sport and knowing how good she is.

I so enjoy reading Kate Meader. Her books always give me what I want in a story. You really come to enjoy the characters of her stories. Up this time is Mia and Cal's story. This one is fun. Mia is using Cal to get the attention of the man she really wants, or at least "thinks" she wants. He doesn't mind at all because he's loving being with her.

You quickly learn that Mia has so underlining issues in life and Cal is just the man to help her through it. It takes Mia a bit to understand what she's feeling for Cal and admit it to herself. She's very goal orientated and doesn't want to move from those goals.

The fun part is that she takes two steps closer to her goals and one back to Cal. As time goes on these really learn to communicate and open up about their feelings. Falling for each other isn't easy on either of them but Cal is more honest with his feelings. He worries that wanting his friend's sister will ruin their relationship and I can't blame him.

I found myself more than once laughing while reading Foreplayer and that's one of the reasons I love reading books by Meader. This is the perfect addition to the Rookie Rebels series, and I love reading them all.

I'm loving this series!! This was so darn cute!! Cal is shocked Mia's not interested but he's definitely down for some teaching some lessons in seduction.
