I didn’t like this at all. The romance happened very quickly. I feel that the main character trusted her kidnappers way too easily. The writing in itself brought me back to my wattpad era. The storyline idea was good but zero character development. I struggled to finish this and don’t think I can continue when the rest of the series comes out.
this is a great book for someone looking to get into fantasy - rogue x ara has a great plot & storyline (which I personally love in a book) - that being said, this book DOES end on a cliffhanger

Loved this newly discovered fantasy! It has spice, banter and dragons (or draig as in the book) that took me right into the story. The writing and characters are solid, and I can't wait to continue.

At first i struggled liking this book. but as the more it went on, the more i loved ara and rouge relationship, even is ara irritated me sometimes. rouges obsession with ara was adorable and i loved all of the twists and discoveries. its a simple fantasy world but really fun!
The story was quite interesting and it had a few interesting twists. It's not a 5-star read for me simply because I realized I'm not a fan of instalove, especially those based primarily on lust. I felt the main couple needed more time to develop their relationship to make it more believable. Still, I liked it and want to proceed with the series.
