This was an interesting read that I think I would've liked a lot more if not for one specific thing. I just don't care for it, found it unnecessary, but I liked it. That one thing is just such a big part of the book and gives me enough ick to take of a few stars, but if you look past that, it's a very nice story of self-exploration and being true to yourself.

I was really unable to enjoy this book. I don't have an issue with a book exploring controversial topics if they serve the story and/or force the reader to think about certain ascepts of society. However, in this book it just feels random and there just for the sake of it. The way the characters just go through things is odd. Yayoi always suspected something was off so she just accepts everything she learnt and instantly fell in love with her brother.. who loved her all along because he knew they weren't related. Why? And even worse was Yukino's relationship with her high school student, completely unneccessary in my opinion.
