Plot wise the book is a little empty but she makes up for it by a beautiful prose that really engaged me as a reader. The subtle and quiet atmosphere drew me into the journey that the kain character takes through the book
the pseudo incest plot qas a little odd i have to say hmmm
. Overall beautiful and I look forward to reading more orlf her works

the writing is pretty but the whole twist was said literally in the start of the book, it was so quickly revealed. And the incesty feeling like relationship was kind of icky. i like the writing a lot tho, so i might give Yoshimoto an another try some day. :).
