I resisted reading this because I had seen it EVERYWHERE (and who wants to be mainstream?)
But I'm so glad I did.
It was the perfect vacation read while I was missing my own dog. I don't believe he is quite so philosophical as Enzo, but then, perhaps he would surprise me if he were to narrate his own story.
The epilogue was a little neater than I would have liked, but overall such an affirming story.

Just finished blowing my nose, and having a severe emotional meltdown. Damn that was a perfect fucking book And I’m not even an animal person. Enzo is everything, now I gotta go watch this movie♥️♥️

Just not my cup of tea. Read the first 6 chapters and didn't even like the main character(a dog). It's hard not to like a dog. It was fluff and I didn't find it all that enjoyable.

A truly beautiful and moving read that had me engaged from start to finish. The relationship between Enzo and Denny is portrayed wonderfully and will seem all too familiar to dog lovers.

Oh Enzo, you sweetheart!
This book is a touching exploration of what it is to be human, through a dog's eyes.
