Just like the pervious novels in this series, fun and quick. As long as you don’t try to take this book very serious and know you are reading it for a little bit of history and a lot of laughs, it gets the thumbs up from me.

I adore this alternative history book series. As always, the audio is phenomenal. The writing is clever and witty and the characters are loveable.

This was not as good as the first two. It's still funny and whacky, but there are some downsides. Annie grated on me. The insta love is very real in this book, which isn't new to the series but bothered me more this time. I loved Frank as a character though. I wish we got more of Winnie.

So... I loved My Lady Jane A LOT and My Plain Jane wasn't too bad either (even though Charlotte stole the show and ended up more interesting than Jane Eyre) and now I got my hands on My Calamity Jane.

I adore these books! I have never read a "gun slinging" western before, so this was new for me. Me and my husband listened to it on our 21 hour drive and it really helped make the time more enjoyable.

I absolutely loved how the authors tweaked history so that Calamity Jane became a better person through and through. Protectors of womens rights and POC (specifically Native Americans) rights will stand up and clap their hands hard. Empowering story.

I am in LOVE with this series.

My Calamity Jane brings us Calamity Jane, Frank Butler, and Annie Oakley. To say that I loved everything about this little western book... would be one hundred percent true. There's just something about magical werewolves that made this a page turner. Whether you are hunting, protecting, or the random Alpha controlling them - it was addicting.

Now this book has comedy and fantasy all rolled into one. Maybe with a dash of betrayal too? Even though some things were a bit predictable I still enjoyed this book. For example,
SpoilerJane's mom was completely predictable. Then there's the whole "cure" thing too.
Other than that, I enjoyed getting to know all these characters and see where their stories were going.

In the end, the "wooh's" got to me. I honestly couldn't stop laughing whenever someone did it.

A re-telling of Calamity Jane and other folk heroes of the Wild West Shows. In this story, Annie Oakley is the sharp shooter and Frank Butler is the trick shot. Fun enough with quite a few smirks (fun to think that Oakley arranges her wardrobe by whether they “spark joy”). Still, I think I preferred the otherJanies. Or maybe this time period just doesn’t speak to me. Fun enough, though.
