This book is full of TW please know that going it, the trauma and the abuse each character is going through is unbearable i loved how the author gradually shows the progress and the transition for each character they become very important once you follow them for me it was more about family than romance because it was filed with drama
Its about addiction, family abuse, sickness of a loved one and harsh words were being used i am giving it 4 stars because it was emotionally draining for me even though i didn’t have any issues with the triggers but still i felt really tired

I used to call myself the number one hater of second-chance romance, but—like always—I was wrong. I just hadn’t found the right one.

I won’t lie—I cried multiple times while reading. But since I’m a crybaby, I won’t use that as the reason you should read this book. Instead, you should read it because it’s beautifully written and genuinely moving.
Now, onto the main couple… They are the definition of soulmates. No matter how many obstacles were thrown in their way, they always found their way back to each other—first as friends, then as something more.
Please, just read it.
