This is such a lovely book. I just wish it wasn't so short. Romance was so compelling, in spite of the leading characters rarely talking to each other. Captain Wentworth letter that's how you do second chance romance.

Definitely aided by Sparknotes and the Netflix adaptation of this to fully get to grips with all of the characters and plot. Overall enjoyable but did feel like a bit of a slog in places. Obviously adored the yearning between Anne and Frederick.
