audiobook - this story is super sad and tense given the general topic of human trafficking. Continued theme of the members dealing with their abusive childhood and efforts to form romantic relationships.
Child kidnapping thankfully they do save the child and he only sustained physical abuse no mention of sexual abuse of a 2.5 year old. Suggestive incest sex relationship
But always love me a hea ending.

Ok so I just started/finished this book today. The fact that I got it before the official release date and finished it in a day tells me one thing...I'm apparently great at tuning out life's obligations to read about sex on a motorcycle alpha males. Who knew? (Me..I knew) so short and sweet review from me

Anyway I went in blind. I knew very limited information. Here's what I knew:

1. It's the second book of a series and that I liked the first one.

2. The main characters were not who I wanted to read about (AKA Savage)

3. It's a feehan book so the heroine is not going to be the sharpest tool in the shed but she's going to be the prettiest (and not know it) and lord have mercy how can she be so demure and still so strong ? Mad respect for your girl. (My eyes rolling so hard it's a workout) And the Hero is going to be SO tortured, SO possessive, SO very much bad boy I'm not good for you but your MINE Alpha it might give you a headache.

4. Information will be repeated. A lot.

That's what I knew. And that's basically what I got. I liked it. People are saying it's her darkest series. Ehh. Maybe it is but I've read darker stuff and i can appreciate that she's doing something different than that light airy and breezy romance. I like angst. Though I would never pick Steele to be my guy that's besides the point. Im just glad it's something different and has a MC club I am a sucker for that

Wow. Loving this series. Anything Feehan is worth a read, but I'm loving these MC guys and the connections with the drakes and their men are beyond cool. The club members have definitely lived a hard life but hopefully their mates can bring them back from the brink.

“Our old ladies are sacred to us as well as to the entire club. They are always as protected as our families are.”

I am on a Torpedo Ink binge read right now.
MC romance is my guilty pleasure.

We follow Steele in the second book.
I did not enjoyed this as much as the first one.
We do get badass men and women. Action scenes, Love scenes. I love all those.
But when it comes to romance I love when the couples are fresh and new.
Couples with history and past just feel like there is a lot of angst.

I love Breezy. She is my favourite.
We follow through her journey, she has go through like a lot of things.
From a mouse to a badass bitch she became.
We discuss on serious issues in the second book. So Trigger warning.
From sex trafficking, PTSD, rape, child molestation, death, grief and everything.

I like the plotline we are following these MC who faces these stuff and how they are going through it.

I honestly am so excited for ICE book!

“Steele felt the weight of that sacred ink on his back. It was there for a reason, to remind all of them they were stronger together.”
