All the characters made the DUMBEST choices even though they were supposed to be “preppers” and it was uncomfortably political in an uncomfortably out-of-place manner.

This book should have been called Stupid F’ing Idiots Somehow Make it to the End of This Book. Or a manual of how not to survive but do it anyways. Not sure I can do another book of this.

Start this book early in the day, and be prepared to not get anything else done! Great character development, real world reactions to being faced with things they preped for but weren't prepared for in reality, and engaging story. Create reminders throughout the book on being prepared, ones that we've through the story without being a list or a lecture. Make sure if you don't already have it that you get the second book, "Shoot Like A Girl", ordered, you're not going to want to wait between finising this one and starting the next!!!
