As much as I liked the storyline. I spent most the time reading useless information that wasn't needed for the story. I like a lot of detail, but this was way beyond a lot. I actually had to scan through most of it. At one point the author took the time to actually decribe what a none main character was thinking about, which didn't even pretain to the story.

This was a nice little read. One thing gnawed at me, though: why did they treat Roger so nastily, as if he were a career criminal, when he had only just woken up in hospital with a head injury?

To put it bluntly, this book sucked. Bad writing, an almost non-existent plot. I kept reading out of morbid curiosity thinking something has to happen soon. Nope. Do not waste your time.

It seemed that the writing was something my English teachers would have cringed at. Lots of run on paragraphs...However, the imagery was good. I could see the story unfolding. Was it perfectly written? No- most of these kindle freebies lack good editing. But was it a good read? Yes

Clouded Rainbow was an odd book. The plot was decent and I liked where the author was headed, but it was written like a high school drama student had written it. Everything was over the top and very film noir. Too many unnecessary details. It made the book dull at times and confusing to follow. It would've been much better if the author had just stuck to telling the story.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book? Was it going to be paranormal? Was it going to be a mystery? What was going to happen?
Though it turned out to not be anything like I expected it, I liked it. And yes, I liked the ending as well, because that isn't something you see very often. It was fast paced (though it took me forever to read it because I was only able to do a few pages at a time) and really kept you on the edge of your seat. What was going to happen to the two main characters as they headed out for their night of romance?
I found their relationship, a little overwhelming at first. He was not just in love with his wife, but also obsessed with her. Does love like this exist in real life? No matter, because I don't read for reality. I read for escapism and entertainment.
But as events progressed, this level of adoration was essential in the characters plight, fight, and sometimes flight.
I'd suggest one go into it without expecting anything in particular, and leave your mind open.
I'm still curious though, as to the peculiar weather. And what caused the accident. But those aren't essential to the meat of the story.
