This book has a crazy premised that made me wonder how it could be pulled off but Melanie Harlow did it. We follow Enzo and Bianca as they decide to get married so he can inherit his family business and she can have a baby. The baby portion of this deal had me worried but it all came through at the end. This was very sweet at times with how the MCs interacted with each other and plenty sexy. The FMC has fertility issues and though I have no personal experience with this it felt like it was handled ok. It was solved a bit too quickly I think considering how hard it is to get pregnant with what our FMC faces. Overall I enjoyed the book and it did make me curious about the stories of the other couples.

Loved the book but the third act breakup felt forced, for two people who were so open with each other this felt forced and annoying

Of the three books in this series, this one is my least favourite.

I love these two characters and always enjoy a good marriage of convenience trope making the first part of this story wonderful to read. Their chemistry is amazing and their banter was even better.

However, the way the characters dealt with the conflict annoyed me. It didn't make much sense. The conflict relied too much on miscommunication to lay its foundation which doesn't correlate with the two characters' personalities and I didn't like how much emphasis was placed on the side characters helping out the main characters sort out their conflict.

Great fake marriage story

This isn’t usually a trope I like to read but the characters seemed so engaging, I just had to and I really liked it. I like the realness that Melanie adds to her characters - their concerns, fears, goals and dreams are always so real. Great banter in this story as well - and the timing of banter can be very stilted, but Melanie does it so well. I hadn’t read books 1 and 2 of the series, so I guess I better double back and catch up.

I love this book so much. The Italian family dynamics are absolutely spot on. Enzo is perfection. I will read this book over and over again.
