Didn't enjoy the format/timeline, the info that was given about the heroine in the prologue that I'd rather not have known up front, and it's in desperate need of both a content editor and a proofreader.

Royal Atlas – HJ Bellus – This isn’t just a love story. It’s a four generation family epic. If horses and military men are your jam, this is a great book for you. I will warn you that there are lots of sad moments, but isn’t that life? Happy Reading!

Ok when this first starts off I thought “oh great. A flashback story” which I am not a fan of. But this one...well let’s just say I became invested in the characters and had tears....yes TEARS rolling down my face. Now it could be because I listened to this and the narrator put emotion into it that got to me. But really I never have tears like that over a story. I was devastated but as this book shows...life goes on.
What did I love about this? Well for one the characters were spot on! I loved how devoted these two were together. Their little surprises to each other and all the special songs were amazing. Really makes me think. Also did you see that COVER? “Holy Hotness” is what I thought! I need to read this book! The story...and that end? Just wow! i still can’t get over seeing it in my head. I did see this is book 1....I’m not sure what the follow up book could be.
I listened to this on audio. Jeremy York and Lacy Laurel are the narrators. Lacy does a large portion since this is mostly told from a female POV. But they both did a good job.
