I did like this story and it stayed mostly in real world, so the fantasy elements were fine. (I'm not a big paranormal fan).
The story kept moving along, the writing nice and clean and the overall effect was of a much longer story. I would have liked more story from certain character mixes but thats me being greedy.
And whilst there were a couple of times I thought 'would that really happen' it didnt detract from the overall effect which was great!

Hmmmm what to say about this without giving anything away....
Well written and quite on edge in the last 3rd of the book. The first 2/3 easily held me.
Characters are well developed. A couple of missed opportunities to give background, but realistically weren't required to complete this story.
No real plot holes come to mind. Keep in mind that this is fantasy fiction in regards to the story line.
Quite frankly I really gave this story 5 because of the way i was feeling through the whole book. I would strongly recommend this if you are wanting something fantasy orientated, that will flip you around a little emotionally. :)
