I enjoyed reading this but nothing much happens in the first half and it's only at the end that things really get going. It was pretty much all just a set up for the series and I think the next will be better.

This is such a gripping book! I was hooked immediately and it had some chilling moments even reading as an adult - the oldschool vampire influences like Dracula definitely shine through.

Definitely a favorite and I will be recommending it to readers of all ages! Now I gotta find the sequel...
