Okay, I loved this book.
I guess the bet part is the worst part. That shit happens in the end that pretty much make you want to scream and douse oneself in petrol, before setting oneself alight underneath a peice of heavy machinery, provoking it to explode and cause a great amount of damage to person and property.

I read this back when I was a teenager and then I read this story again to my kids when they were little, a chapter or 2 at a time at bedtime and they loved it. This is a great story and I found it better than the movie. I do love the movie, though. "farm boy! fetch me that pail of water!" ... "as you wish."
