Seems like this kind of book would be more useful when Pinterest didn’t exist. It also seemed to cater to a mom of very young ones, which I am no longer. So all in all, it wasn’t very helpful to me, but it was a quick read and a little bit inspirational and encouraging.

Meh... Not really my cup of tea and I couldn't really relate to much of how she proposed situations could be.

Not quite as helpful as I was thinking it would be, but still some good ideas that I want to try.

Ew. This book made me cringe. Underneath all her preachy, icky, rich lady crap I reckon the author and I probably share some similar values, like raising children in a respectful, peaceful way. You have to dig through a whole bunch of yuck to get to those values though.

I really resisted reading this book, because I don't like having my time scheduled. I did finally give in after Amazon kept recommending it to me :o) I love this book and it is revolutionizing my life. Now when we veer away from the routine, I can feel it pulling me back. I never knew how much I could enjoy a steady day!

This is an amazing book about juggling lots of things as a parent. I only wish it went a little bit deeper.

I appreciate Jamie's book, but I've read it all before. This could be very helpful to a new stay at home mom or a homeschooling mama.

Nothing earthshattering here. I'm really, really glad I didn't buy this book - it is definitely a library only book. I'm just kind of meh about the whole thing.

I found this book to be full of obvious tools and tricks for managing motherhood. Put your kids things in a 3 ring binder! Well ok. Use a planner or some type of calendar! Obviously. Maybe these things would have been super helpful when my kids were brand new but by the time they are school aged, this stuff feels pretty self explanatory. Overall the writing seemed pretty juvenile or maybe just dated. My expectations might have been too high as I heard this book praised on a podcast I really enjoy but imo it didn’t live up to that praise.
