I got to a point where I just don’t care that I didn’t finish it. And I’ve just now decided to give this one up.

It’s very super alpha male and very misogynistic, which was probably accurate to that time period. It’s a very descriptive book, there’s hardly any story. It sets aside the story and has these really long segments of backstory and I got bored.

I love the film a lot but I just didn’t have the patience to complete this.
