⭐ Hades and Persephone retelling
⭐ Forced proximity

Are you looking for a Hades and Persephone retelling but you're not into the abduction to seduction trope, you're off put by the source mythology, or you're just starting out? Well this is probably the best place for you to start.

HaH switches up the mythology of Hades and Persephone, removing some of the more sketchy elements of the story. You know, the whole kidnapping thing 🤣

Now I love a dark H&P retelling, but I really wasn't in the right headspace for it today, so I stumbled across this stashed in my WTR shelf and jumped at the chance to read it.

It's fairly short, it's sweet, it's spicy. Both Hades and Persephone are well formed, with Persephone shown as powerful and having some independence where some other retellings portray her as less of a goddess and more of a helpless damsel.

This was light in tone, while still maintaining the essence of the story, albeit completely transformed. I was a fan.

Also, there needs to be an honourable mention for Cerberus and his three personalities 🤣🙏
