as a self-ascribed hades x persephone stan lover, this was so good!!!! i'm not a huge novella person, but i love alisha rai and have been wanting to read this for a long time!!!! she re-released it with some editing and now it's available on scribd!!!

idk man it was just really cute!!! it wasn't too plot-heavy, but it wasn't only smut, you know? it was a great balance and i think if you're a fan of hades x persephone retellings, then you should check this one out!!!

It's ok for a quick fix of Hades and Persephone.

The rhythm and pacing never felt right. I’ve read several retellings in either a modern and/or fantasy setting, but the modern language in this one didn’t work.

Characters were unmemorable. The steam was average.

4.5 ⭐️ An awesome, short, Hades and Persephone retelling.

There were quite a few changes to the original myth in the plot that, in my opinion, only made this more enjoyable. Especially since the canonical Greek Hades and Persephone myth is SO very problematic (and, honestly, down right gross). I really liked the roles of Zeus and Cerberus here, and really enjoyed the fact that
Spoiler no one is really painted as the villain of the story, so much as there's some self-serving nature shown in Zeus' part, which is absolutely appropriate.

Quick and smutty, this iteration of these characters is always my favourite: Soft Hades and Badass Persephone. I kind of wish the story would've been longer, but alas, I knew what I was getting myself into.

Lovely 4.5 / 5 ⭐️
