I loved the book when I was younger, but I did the audiobook and it was very monotone. I feel like if I read it this way years ago I probably wouldn't have liked it as much.

I really liked the concept of the book, but I thought the main character and character interactions were really bland. Also it felt like the world building was lacking severity.

DNF @ 70% I have no desire to finish this. The writing was simple and uninteresting. Some of the plot felt so obvious. It felt like the author was trying to say something important but missed the mark. The only thing that I thought was interesting was Shay and Tally’s relationship but they ruined that by tiring Shay into a jealous girl whole only liked a man. And the characters were one dimensional and had no real traits.
